All the way to the edge of Texas to...
El Paso!

Here's some the beautiful scenery we saw as we trekked through New Mexico on our way to El Paso.

Just across the highway from our hotel in El Paso was Sunland Park Casino and Race Track in New Mexico.

A race to the finish! (Ever thought about what a silly expression that is? Of course
it's a race to the finish. What're else are they gonna do? Race to the middle?)

Next was a trip over the bridge to Mexico.

We decided to stop in here for a bit of "refreshment" before heading back across the border.
Notice how very light and bright it is outside? When we finally left, it was totally dark!
